Marvin Mauer (1929-2014) was a vanguard of teaching emotional intelligence in schools. Over thirty years ago, Mr. Maurer developed a “Feeling Words Curriculum” that not only helped students learn better, but also helped them to understand their own and others’ feelings more effectively.
